How it works

For owners

1. Activate. Go to tagsquad.co.uk/activate and enter the tag ID and claim code from the card in the pack.
2. Set it up. Add a label or your pet's name, a photo and any notes. Choose what finders can see.
3. Attach it. Pets: on the collar. Bags and kit: a zip pull or handle, on the outside. The tag works with any phone: tap it (NFC) or scan the QR code. Full step-by-step guide.
4. Get alerts. When someone finds it, we email you their message and location. Add a mobile number for text alerts.

Every tag's QR code is engraved into the metal. Tell us your name and address and we'll engrave those too, free, before the tag reaches you.

For finders

1. Tap the tag with your phone, or scan its QR code with the camera. Step-by-step guide with pictures.
2. You'll see what the owner wants you to know, such as a pet's name or "needs medication".
3. Send a message and, if you like, your contact details or your location. You don't need an app or an account.

The owner's phone number and email are never shown. All contact goes through TagSquad.
